Standard qualities
Pure biochar in EBC quality.
You seek defined biochar for your growing media, soils or industrial processes. We deliver tested batches with complete declaration. We comply with the requirements of the European Biochar Certificate.
Effect
Reliable structure in soil and substrate
Your blends benefit from the high porosity of the carbon framework. The material retains moisture and aerates dense layers.
High porosity
Around 375 m²/g specific surface area.
Water holding capacity
High water holding capacity in the pore space.
Stable carbon
Stable carbon body without rapid biological degradation.
Process
From test sample to continuous delivery
You match grain size and volume to your conveying technology. We support the design with laboratory analyses.
- 01
Choose grain size
Selection of the right grain size for your plant.
- 02
Request samples
Provision of material samples and current batch values.
- 03
Plan delivery
Flexible scheduling in big bag or silo truck.
EBC limit values
They strictly comply with the EBC limit values.
High fixed carbon
Volatile components decompose strongly under heat.
Laboratory reports
On request you receive laboratory reports for every delivery.
Flexible use in preparation and process
You use the biochar as raw material or additive. Growing media producers use the granulate for peat-free substrates. Landscaping and agriculture apply the material for soil improvement. Industrial users use the carbon as a reactive carrier material.
- Additive for growing media producers and composting sites
- Soil improver for agriculture and landscaping
- Carrier material for technical applications
Origin and quality control
Your production requires clean raw materials without disturbing accompanying substances. The thermal treatment of woody, natural biomass above 600 °C secures a high fixed carbon. Before loading, our biochar passes strict checks and complies with the limit values for heavy metals and organic trace substances.
Technical data and delivery forms
Product data
| Grain size | 0 to 5 mm or fractions as agreed |
| Bulk density | Ready to use around 0.5 t/m³ |
