Offer
Product inquiry or preliminary assessment of your project
You buy biochar products or you review a pyrolysis project. Both paths start with an inquiry. You receive a technical assessment and a comprehensible offer.
Path A
Request biochar products
You name the application area, volume and quality requirement. We review the suitable quality and get back to you with an offer.
- Filter carbon for pollutants and water
- Standard qualities per EBC
Path B
Preliminary assessment for your pyrolysis project
The preliminary assessment creates the decision basis before capital flows. It examines site, permitting, funding and material. At the end stands a technology recommendation with a roadmap.
First step
The service catalog of the preliminary assessment
Site
- Site analysis: review of the suitability of the site for a carbonization plant. Considered are infrastructure access, topographical and planning-law conditions as well as regional restrictions. The result is a structured evaluation as the basis for further planning.
- On-site conditions: site visit, plot and planning-law basis.
Permitting
- Permitability: technology-related preliminary inquiry with the responsible authorities. We present the technology and the use case and summarize the feedback in a result protocol. We act as an intermediary without a legally binding interpretation of the permitting situation.
- Permitting classification: the main purpose of the plant towards the authority. Examined are enclosure, exhaust air, odors, noise, delivery traffic, storage and fire protection.
Technology & material
- Technical integration: integration into the customer’s energy and heat concept and design based on the manufacturer’s data sheet and performance data.
- Input materials: origin, waste code, quality requirements and site-specific volumes.
- Laboratory analysis and material assessment: analysis and assessment of the input material.
- Material processing: preliminary review of the processability of the input material with the technology partners, based on material samples, images and descriptions. The assessment is carried out by the partner companies.
- Technology recommendation: structured summary of all findings and recommendation of suitable technologies. With several technology partners we compare advantages and disadvantages, for example material sensitivity, prices and maintenance.
- Review biomass supply: through our regional supplier network we deliver suitable biomass and plan the supply with you.
- Optional material use of the biochar: cycle, carbon sequestration and substrates as a secondary aspect.
Funding & schedule
- Funding eligibility: review based on existing funding programs at state, federal or EU level. A binding funding commitment is not included. Analysis and application follow in a separate step.
- Project roadmap: roadmap with phases, dates and milestones for the next project steps.
- On request: joint tour of the possible plants and contact with plant operators and manufacturers.
The results serve project development preparation and decision support. They are not legally binding statements and not planning services within the meaning of the HOAI or other professional standards.
Afterwards
Further cost elements
The preliminary assessment ends with a recommendation. You commission the next steps individually.
- Funding: analysis and application for funding.
- Permitting: initiation of formal permitting processes.
- Feasibility: deepening of technical feasibility studies.
- Implementation: plant planning, construction and commissioning.
- Operation: support in ongoing operation and marketing of the biochar.
Project roadmap
Milestone plan
The roadmap gives clear orientation about the next steps. A complete business plan is not part of the preliminary assessment.
- Diagram with phases, dates and important milestones
- Rough schedule in monthly blocks
- Central decision points with clear review criteria
- Division of roles: who is responsible for what
- Possible partners and authorities as well as the rough sequence of the permitting steps
Processing time: around eight weeks from written order placement.
Next step
Start with an inquiry.
You tell us your starting point. We review it and get back to you with a technical assessment.
You will receive a non-binding response within 24 hours.
